Greetings from Clan Roberts!

As we usher in the month of April, we’re filled with excitement for the upcoming events and the continued growth of our Clan. Spring is a time for new beginnings, and we have much to look forward to this month, including the Dunedin Highland Games and Tartan Day!

Dunedin Highland Games: April 4–6

The much-anticipated Dunedin Highland Games are almost here! Running from April 4th to April 6th, this incredible event in Dunedin, Florida, is one of the largest and most celebrated Scottish festivals in the region. Whether you're a seasoned attendee or experiencing the Highland Games for the first time, this event is a true celebration of all things Scottish.

With exciting athletic competitions like the caber toss and tug-of-war, live music featuring the best of Scottish bagpipes, and the mesmerizing performances of Highland dancers, the Dunedin Highland Games offer something for everyone. Clan Roberts will have a presence at the event, and we encourage all members to visit our tent, where we’ll celebrate our heritage, meet fellow Clan members, and create lasting memories. It’s a perfect opportunity to connect with other Scots and enjoy the vibrant energy of the event!

Tartan Day: April 6

April 6th marks Tartan Day, a day to celebrate Scottish culture, heritage, and the contributions of Scots to the world. It is the perfect time for all of us to wear our tartan proudly and reflect on our shared history. Tartan Day is a time to honor the deep traditions of Scotland, and to celebrate the unity of Scots around the world.

We encourage all Clan Roberts members to take part in Tartan Day celebrations by wearing their family tartan, participating in local events, and sharing the spirit of Scotland with friends and family. Whether you're attending the Dunedin Highland Games, taking part in a local parade, or enjoying time with loved ones, let's come together as a Clan to honor our heritage and the power of our tartan!

Member of the Month: George Roberts

This month, we are proud to recognize George Roberts as Member of the Month! George, one the youngest active members of Clan Roberts at just 4 years old, has become part of our Clan’s activities and outreach. His smile and excitement for our culture and flourishing as a member of the next generation of Clan.

George has been actively involved in our Clan’s youth engagement programs, helping to ensure that the next generation of Scots is inspired to connect with our history and traditions. His commitment to preserving the heritage of Clan Roberts while inspiring his peers to participate is truly remarkable.

George, thank you for your tireless dedication and energy. We are excited to watch you continue to grow as a leader within Clan Roberts, and we are proud to have you as a member of our Clan!
